Question 1

How much does UPVC window spraying cost?

Accepted Answer

Window spraying starts from £295 per window (standard double casement). Doors from £195, fascias from £495 per elevation, and full house packages from £1,500. Every quote is bespoke and based on the number of windows, their size, and the condition of the UPVC. We offer free home visits for accurate pricing — no hidden costs, no surprises.

Question 2

Won’t the paint just peel off UPVC?

Accepted Answer

Not with our coatings. Traditional paint does peel off UPVC — that’s because standard paints can’t flex with the material as it expands and contracts in heat. We use specialist polymer coatings designed specifically for UPVC. They chemically bond to the surface through thermal expansion — flexing with the frame, not against it. That’s why we guarantee them for 10 years.

Question 3

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Most properties are completed in a single day. A typical 3-bed semi with windows and a front door takes around 6-8 hours. Larger properties or full house packages (windows, doors, fascias, guttering) may take 1-2 days. We’ll give you a clear timeline when we quote.

Question 4

What does the 10-year guarantee cover?

Accepted Answer

Our 10-year guarantee covers peeling, flaking, and adhesion failure when the coating has been applied to our specification. If the finish fails within 10 years due to our workmanship or the coating itself, we come back and fix it at no cost. The guarantee is provided as a written certificate on completion of every job.

Question 5

What colours can I choose from?

Accepted Answer

Any colour from the full RAL chart — plus BS, NCS, and bespoke colour references. Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) is our most popular choice by far, but we regularly spray jet black, agate grey, chartwell green, and dozens of other colours. If you can name it, we can match it.

Question 6

Can you spray coloured UPVC — or just white?

Accepted Answer

We can spray any colour of UPVC, including woodgrain-effect, rosewood, and golden oak. The preparation process is slightly different for non-white UPVC, but the end result is the same — a factory-smooth, even finish in your chosen colour.

Question 7

Do I need to be home during the work?

Accepted Answer

You don’t need to be present the entire time. We work on the outside of your property, so we just need access to the exterior. We’ll arrange a start time with you, and most homeowners go about their day while we work. The windows stay sealed throughout — there’s no disruption inside the house.

Question 8

What preparation do you carry out?

Accepted Answer

Our 6-step process is: (1) Mask all glass, seals, brickwork, and surrounding surfaces, (2) Clean all UPVC surfaces thoroughly, (3) Degrease to remove invisible contaminants, (4) Key the surface with light abrasion, (5) Apply specialist adhesion primer, (6) Spray two coats of UV-resistant polymer topcoat. Proper preparation is what separates a finish that lasts from one that doesn’t.

Question 9

Will it damage my window seals or glass?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. Every pane of glass, rubber seal, handle, and hinge is carefully masked with specialist tape and sheeting before any spraying begins. We only coat the UPVC frame itself. Your windows will still open, close, and lock exactly as before.

Question 10

Is it cheaper than replacing the windows?

Accepted Answer

Yes — dramatically. A typical full-house window replacement costs £6,000-£12,000. A full-house UPVC spray starts from £1,500. That’s a saving of 75% or more, with a finish that’s guaranteed for 10 years. You keep your existing double glazing, your window warranties remain intact, and it’s done in a day instead of weeks.

Question 11

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We’re based in Manchester and cover the entire North West as standard. For larger projects, multiple properties, or developments, we operate UK-wide. There’s no minimum job size in the North West. For national work, we typically ask for 5+ properties in one area to justify the travel.

Question 12

Can I see examples of your work?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Check our gallery page for photos of real customer projects — every image is our own work on actual homes, not stock photography. We can also arrange for you to see a recently completed property near you, so you can see the finish in person before committing.
